HERE ARE THE INGREDIENTS THAT I USE:
10 limes
1 lb. fresh sweet cherries
1/2 cup organic cane sugar
2 cups filtered water (for simple syrup)
1 tbsp. maple syrup
12 fl oz. sparkling water (per serving) - our favorite is the Waterloo Cherry Limeade Sparkling Water
& HERE IS WHAT I DO:
When I prepare this, I make a big batch of the cherry purée and fresh lime juice, it all ends up serving about 6 people or so, depending on the desired ratios for flavor per drink.
In a small saucepan, combine the 1/2 cup sugar and 2 cups of filtered water. Bring to boil, stir so that all of the sugar dissolves, then remove from the heat and also add in the maple syrup + stir again. Let this cool to room temperature.
Juice 10 limes—this should end up being about 1.5 cups of fresh lime juice. Store in its own container.
I know some people may simmer their cherries, but I prefer the flavor of blending them raw/at room temperature and not cooked.
Wearing disposable food-safe gloves, remove pits and stems of the organic sweet cherries.
Put the pitted cherries into blender, add the cooled down simple syrup (sugar water mix) and blend until a smooth purée is achieved.
Then pour through a fine strainer and remove the froth on top.
To serve: in a mason jar (or whatever glass you choose), add ice, then 1/2 cup of the final cherry purée, and 1/4 cup of the lime juice (we like ours sour, but feel free to adjust per your taste buds - start out with 1 tbsp., then add more until reach desired tang).
Finish with pouring in at least 12 fl oz. of water or sparkling water (or more depending on your preference for watered down taste). Our current go-to is the Waterloo Cherry Limeade Sparkling Water, it makes this concoction SO refreshingly delicious.

Happy summer! :)

P.S. I also made an adults-only creamy version of this, but into a cocktail, and it was delicious—let me know if you want me to share that too!
I tried a different recipe for this just this week and didn't love it, so I'm really excited that you shared this! 🤗
Hi Heather, been looking for a good summer drink recipe. Excited to try this! Btw, i have the same checkered one piece from Sivan, and a bikini from her last drop (sunset girly collection). Looks good on you!
